Along Lake Washington's shores east of Seattle, the orientation of 'Eastlight House' strategically captures both eastern light and Mt. Rainier vistas. Its staggered design seamlessly integrates with the sloped site and angled shoreline. Offering multiple corner views and a cascading terrace, the residence links the main floor to the lakeshore, featuring concrete planters and a captivating custom water feature. The entry welcomes with a black basalt fountain, and inside, exposed steel structure adds character, while warm wood structure grounds the living spaces in the Pacific Northwest. 'Eastlight House' captures the essence of lakeside living and steep slope design.
